Nature knows many ways to introduce a twist into the life of a tree. The stories are all in the wood and Warren Brubacher preserves those tales by incorporating flowing timbers into flowing designs.

Warren and his wife moved from his homeland of Nova Scotia to Squamish in 1990. An experienced log home builder and blacksmith, Warren began harvesting twisted wood from the forest floor. After power washing each piece Warren stores the wood in his pole tent where it is ready to be used in his creations… which include outdoor benches, railings, picnic tables, signs, lamps, tables, and more.

Several of Warren’s pieces can be seen along the dyke in Brackendale, in Whistler’s Rainbow park and on the Cheakamus River. Warren and his wife also operate a guesthouse which showcases his creative designs incorporated into the décor.
